Draft, pending review against deployed facts
This site has two parts: a set of static pages describing Noel's projects, and an AI chat assistant that answers questions about them. This notice covers the chat assistant specifically. The static pages do not process anything you enter.
Your current question is sent to this site's own server, which normally sends it to Cloudflare Workers AI for a small relevance check. If it is on topic, the server sends Cloudflare the question, a bounded recent conversation window of at most six messages in total, and a curated public summary of Noel's projects and reviewed evidence. Cloudflare then generates the answer.
If Cloudflare is unavailable, at capacity, or returns an unusable result before any answer text or card is produced, the server may send that same bounded request once to Google's Gemini API. Gemini repeats the relevance check before answering. The server never retries either provider in a loop, never switches after output has begun, and has no paid-provider fallback.
This site keeps your conversation only for the length of your browsing session, under a temporary session identifier, for a maximum of 24 hours, after which it is deleted from this site's own storage regardless of activity.
That is separate from what the AI providers do on their side. Cloudflare's current Workers AI documentation says it does not use customer content to train AI models without explicit consent and does not persist content unless a customer uses an optional storage product. Google's current Gemini API pricing information states that content submitted through the free tier may be used to improve Google's products. The dedicated portfolio project has no billing enabled, so this site does not claim the paid-tier data terms. See Google's current Gemini API pricing and data-use table.
Sensitive personal information, confidential details about a third party, CVs, job applications, recruiter correspondence, JobApplyBot private data, or contents copied from local files. The assistant is designed to answer questions about Noel's projects, skills and career. It will decline anything else.
This site sets two cookies when you use the chat: one recording that you've acknowledged this notice, and one identifying your temporary chat session. Both are essential to the chat working and are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
You can ask what's held about you, ask for it to be deleted, or raise a concern, by emailing quadrin2001@gmail.com. If you're not satisfied with the response, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
